I got this watch off ebay cheap, it is in good condition although it runs a little fast and stuttered a few times, so it has obviously not run for a long time.
Still a good looking watch, and it has the correct movement in!

A very minimalist watch, plain silver sunburst dial with printed Arabic numerals and text, no date and slim plain black and silver hands.
Unable to find much info on this watch other than it seems to be quite rare, the only other images i found was of one being sold in Greece and one in Pakistan, the 8270 movement was fitted to several other Citizen watches but is not common, mostly 'new master' watches.

Citizen New Master 22 shares the same model number, movement and case, it has raised indices, the only difference is the dial and hands

History

The company was founded in 1930 by Japanese and Swiss investors. It took over Shokosha Watch Research Institute (founded in 1918) and some facilities of the assembly plant opened in Yokohama in 1912 by the Swiss watchmaker Rodolphe Schmid.

The brand Citizen was first registered in Switzerland by Schmid in 1918 for watches he sold in Japan. The development of this brand was supported in the 1920s by Count Gotō Shinpei with his hope that watches could become affordable to the general public. The growth of Citizen until World War II relied on technology transfer from Switzerland.

Miyota Caliber

Miyota is a watch movement manufacturer owned by Citizen.
The Miyota 8200 series started in 1975 and powers most of Citizens mechanical watches as well as being sold to smaller manufacturers

In addition to Citizen brand watches, it is the parent of American watch company Bulova, and is also known for manufacturing small electronic devices such as calculators.
